☾ DuaDoor

Privacy Policy

Effective date: 2 October 2026

In short: DuaDoor does not collect, store or share your personal data. Your du'as, mood answers, streaks and the apps you choose to block stay on your iPhone. We have no accounts, no servers that receive your data, no analytics and no advertising trackers.

1. Who we are

DuaDoor ("the app", "we", "us") is developed by SEMIR HUSEN, based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. For any privacy question, contact support@duadoorapp.com.

2. Information that stays on your device

To work, DuaDoor saves the following only in your iPhone's local app storage. It is never sent to us or to anyone else:

We cannot see, access or recover this information. Deleting DuaDoor from your iPhone deletes it permanently.

3. Screen Time and app blocking

DuaDoor uses Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls) framework to block the apps you choose. Apple gives DuaDoor only anonymous tokens for your selections. We cannot see the names of the apps you block, your browsing, or how you use other apps, and none of this information leaves your device.

4. Purchases and subscriptions

Subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your name, email address, Apple Account details or payment information. Apple tells the app only whether you have an active subscription. Apple's handling of your purchase information is described in Apple's Privacy Policy. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your iPhone Settings under your Apple Account.

5. Notifications

Reminders and alerts from DuaDoor are created on your device. We do not use push notification servers and do not receive any notification data.

6. What we do not do

7. When you contact us

If you email support@duadoorapp.com, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you write. We use this only to answer you. We keep it no longer than needed to resolve your request and handle any follow-up, and we do not share it except with our email provider, which delivers the message. If you are in the EU or UK, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to you.

8. This website

This policy is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like any website host, GitHub may log technical data such as your IP address when you visit, under GitHub's Privacy Statement. We do not add cookies, analytics or tracking to this page.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, including the European Union and United Kingdom (GDPR), Canada (PIPEDA) and California (CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, to object to or restrict its use, and to withdraw consent.

Because the app's data stays on your device, you already control it fully: deleting the app removes it. For any emails you have sent us, write to support@duadoorapp.com and we will respond within one month. If you are in the EU or UK, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

10. Children

DuaDoor is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone. The app itself collects no personal data from any user.

11. Changes to this policy

If DuaDoor ever starts collecting or sharing data, we will update this policy and change the effective date before that change reaches the app, and where the law requires it, we will ask for your consent first.
